The key to a successful corporate fitness program is participation. The most effective way to ensure participation is for all parties to make a commitment and a contribution to the program. The the Lighthouse approach is to match the contribution of each employer, up to a certain amount. The more you do, the more we do. The employer helps to subsidize the cost of the program for the employees and your wellness partner (the Lighthouse) will contribute as well.
Fitness Assessments have become the cornerstone of Lighthouse Sports, Fitness and Health Club’s corporate fitness programs. Why? Because they provide a roadmap to both employers and employees on where health improvements need to be made.
The Lighthouse provides onsite confidential Fitness Assessment Screenings that identifies each individual’s high health risks. Employees go through a series of stations in which we screen for body composition, cholesterol testing and blood pressure. A confidential questionnaire is provided to each employee to further identify health risks and lifestyle choices that may enhance or reduce health risks. These screenings provide the Lighthouse with information that will create each individual employee’s personal wellness profile.
Solutions for a Healthy Workplace
Employers continue to face the challenges of fielding a productive work force and rapidly rising health care costs. At the the Lighthouse, we know that good health is good business, so we have developed Corporate Wellness Options affordable to both the employers and employees.
Corporate Wellness Pricing
Not every employee can or will become a health club member. For those, a program targeting a specific goal or health issue may be the best solution – not just for the employee, but the employer as well. For example, losing just 10 lbs (or x% of body weight) has been shown to increase productivity in the workplace by 15-20% or more. Similar to membership, if an employer subsidizes programs (i.e. weight loss or rehabilitation) the Lighthouse will offer “member pricing” on those programs to the employer’s entire workforce, whether they are members or not.
